Gambale Roof Tiles has taken a strong stance to support the environment.
While Gambale roof tiles do not actually qualify as a "Green Roof", which is a roof that consists of the "use of technologies that incorporate drainage systems, high quality waterproofing, a root-repellant layer, light-weight growing media and specially selected plants onto the roofs of buildings."
Instead of having a garden on your roof, we contribute in other ways. Gambale has invested much research and development in developing the cutting edge technology to incorporate Solar Palens into your roof system without having to drill any extra holes into your roof.
Also, our ventilation system allows an inflow of air to enter the roof system in directly underneath the tiles (while keeping out any unwanted guests as well) and the air comes our through our aeration tiles and ventilated ridges and hips. This removes the heat roofs absorb from the sun.
In the production of our tiles, instead of using a chemical-based acrylic acid we use a water-based acrylic acid.
