  • I need a new roof for my home, but have been told I will need to
wait a 6-12 months before any materials will be available for my roof.
How does delivery take when I order from Gambale?

Typically delivery time is 10 weeks, but depending on where you
are located and what tiles you are ordering this may sometime be
    quicker or longer

  • I am building a new home and am deciding on what roofing material
I should use.  I am stuck between clay and concrete roof tiles.  The
clay tiles I was looking at are more expensive though, will they last
    longer than concrete roof tiles?

We cannot speak for other tile manufacturers, but due to the
curing nature of concrete, the A Gambale roof installed today, will
actually be stronger 30 years from now than it is today.    After the
tile is produced, it takes approximately 30 days for the tile to cure.
After this period, the tile is at 98% of it's full strength(which is
still a very strong tile).  The length of time it takes for it to gain
its final 2% of strength is 30 years.

  • I live in the Miami, FL area and you need to have a Miami Dade NOA
to be able to install your tiles here.  Does Gambale have a Miami Dade
    NOA?

Gambale has completed and passed all testing for the Miami Dade
NOA, widely noted as the most most stringent test standards in the
country.  Our Miami Dade NOA # is 06-0209.03.  We are undergoing the
final stages for approval and our status is currently Pending

  • I live in Tampa Bay, FL does this mean I am not sure if we have
any testing standards here, are your tiles available for installation
    here?

Yes, are tiles are available to you.  The testing standard in your
area is known as Florida Certificate of Product Approval, and our
    approval # is FL 4973.

  • I live in upstate NY and we get very cold winters here, is it OK
to use concrete roof tiles here?

Some tiles will not perform well in cold weather conditions due to
having air gaps in the tiles, which can absord water.  In the winter
months, this water will freeze and expand, cracking the tile.  Gambale
Roof Tiles are made using a 1 : 2.3 Sand to concrete ratio, which is
is very high concrete ratio (most other manufactures are 3 : 1 Sand to
Concrete).  Our ratio results in a solid tile with no air gaps in the
tile, and is a pefect choice for cold weather climates.  Our factory,
    located in Mirabello
Italy.  It is northern Italy near the Alps.  Our
tiles are used in very cold climates there and have always performed
    highly!

Another benefit of our tiles in cold climates vs. traditional asphalt
roofing is our venitlation.  Our ventilation system, which keeps your
home cool in the hot summer months also helps prevent the build up of
heat underneath the roof, which prevents troublesome ice dams.
